Президент Казахстана Нурсултан Назарбаев назначил свою старшую дочь депутатом Сената. Соответствующий указ главы государства размещен на его сайте во вторник, 13 сентября.

До этого Дарига Назарбаева занимала пост вице-премьера. Ее исключение из состава кабмина стало частью кадровых перестановок, которые во вторник произвел президент. Заместителями главы правительства стали Аскар Мырзахметов и Имангали Тасмагамбетов. На сайте опубликованы еще несколько документов, касающихся членов правительства.

Дарига Назарбаева заняла пост вице-премьера в сентябре 2015-го. До этого момента с апреля 2014 года была заместителем председателя Мажилиса (нижней палаты) парламента. Помимо политики она занималась бизнесом и была гендиректором медийного агентства «Хабар». Кроме того, Назарбаева зарекомендовала себя в качестве певицы. Сейчас ей 53 года, она владеет казахским, русским, английским, итальянским и немецким языками.
