Партия "Ликуд" премьер-министра Израиля Биньямина Нетаньяху по результатам выборов набирает 30 мандатов в кнессете 20 созыва. Нынешний премьер Израиля уже объявил о своей победе и готовности формировать коалицию. Его ближайший преследователь – блок "Сионистский лагерь" – набрал 24 мандата. Глава блока Ицхак Герцог поздравил Нетаньяху с победой, но заявил, что проблемы в стране остались и его блок продолжит работу по их решению. Самой крупной неожиданностью стало третье место "Объединенного арабского списка" (14 мест). Далее следуют "Еш Атид" (11 мандатов) и "Кулану"" (10 мандатов. "Еврейский дом" (ближайшие сторонники премьера) набрали восемь мест, ШАС – семь, "Яадут а-Тора" и "Наш дом – Израиль" – по шесть мандатов. МЕРЕЦ получил четыре места,пишет Сегодня
Нетаньяху пообещал сформировать правительство в течении двух-трех недель и побеседовал с главами партий, членам которых обещает министерские должности – Нафтали Беннетом, Моше Кахлоном, Авигдором Либерманом, Арье Дери и Яаковом Лицманом.
По мнению экспертов, победа радикально настроенного к Палестине Нетаньяху может усугубить конфликт на Ближнем Востоке.
