Гитман Маргарита Зиновьевна — ветеран второй мировой войны. Орденоносец, которая практически всю войну провела в санитарном поезде, спасая жизни других. И доблестно смогла сберечь свою.

Супруги Нурищенко Владимир Андреевич и Антонина Всеволодовна, которых война раз и навсегда соединила воедино.

Бордунис Анатолий Степанович, которому война искалечила детство. Чтобы уберечь жизнь сыновей, мать Анатолия Степановича отправила его со старшим братом в неизвестном направлении, в набитом неизвестными людьми поезде в эвакуацию
