Засновник серіалу Трей Паркер був впевнений, що переможе Гілларі Клінтон і зняв епізод Перший джентльмен (відсилання до того, що в разі перемоги Гілларі Білл Клінтон став би "першою леді").

Однак американське суспільство внесло свої корективи і серію довелося переробляти. Відредагований епізод отримав назву О, Боже (англ. Oh Jeez).

У тизері до нової серії персонаж Ренді Марш заспокоює себе і свою сім'ю фразою: "Ох, не знаю з приводу вас, хлопці, але я в захваті. Америка знову буде великою. Хіба ви не раді?":

Автори серіалу кажуть, що для них звична справа працювати над серією аж до самої прем'єри, але в цей раз все було рекордно швидко.

8 років тому, коли американці обрали президента Барака Обаму, Трей Паркер і Ко зробили серію (12 сезон 12 серія), яку дуже легко адаптувати під перемогу обох кандидатів. На цей раз зайва впевненість зіграла не на користь авторів.
