Украинский новостной телеканал «Еспресо» может быть продан. Его руководству регулярно поступают заявки с предложением приобрести телевизионные активы. Такую информацию в интервью корреспонденту Mediasat озвучил основатель канала Николай Княжицкий.

«Фактически «Еспресо» уже сейчас вышел на самоокупаемость. Да, нет денег на быстрое и бурное развитие. Канал по-прежнему продолжает находиться в моей квартире, и не может позволить себе новый офис. Но продать мы его можем уже сейчас со значительной прибылью. Такие предложения поступают постоянно, и мы их обдумываем. Если продадим, то не только вернем инвестиции, но и хорошо заработаем», — говорит Княжицкий.

Николай Княжицкий также рассказал, что в ближайшем будущем «Еспресо» не намерен менять способы распространения сигнала. «Еспресо» по-прежнему будет осуществлять спутниковое вещание, поскольку у канала имеется выгодный контракт на аренду спутниковых ёмкостей. Кроме того у «Еспресо» имеется лицензия на эфирное цифровое вещание. Канал также доступен на платформе Youtube, на мобильных устройствах, а также в сети операторов платного телевидения Украины.

Сегодня телеканал «Еспресо» готов к переходу на платную модель распространения, но пока не торопится с её реализацией.

«Мы готовы брать деньги за канал. В целом, для таких каналов как «Еспресо» оптимальной моделью заработка является и продажа зрителю, и продажа рекламы», — отмечает Княжицкий.
