Ущемление прав и пренебрежение женским талантом клиенты разглядели в том, что новую камеру рекламируют с помощью известных фотографов-мужчин. Когда гнев немного утих, оказалось, что это чистая случайность.
 

Филиал компании Nikon в Азии невольно спровоцировал скандал и был обвинён в сексизме из-за новой рекламной кампании, пишет Mashable. В рамках промотура новую камеру D850 тестировали известные азиатские фотографы. Всего было задействовано 32 человека.

Но кто-то обратил внимание, что все принявшие участие в рекламе фотографы — мужчины. На это тут же начали указывать производителю.

Компании пришлось извиняться и выпускать оправдательное письмо. По словам представителей Nikon, они не сексисты, а то, что в рекламе приняли участие только мужчины, так это потому что никто из приглашённых женщин-фотографов не смог присутствовать.

В последнее время компании всё чаще получают обвинения в сексизме из-за своей рекламы. И если в ряде случаев можно подумать, что публика слишком придирается, то некоторые действительно перегибают палку.
