Суд у місті Вюрцбург, розташованому на півдні Німеччині, засудив до півтора року ув'язнення користувача Facebook за злісні коментарі проти євреїв та мігрантів.

Про це повідомляє Deutsche Welle.

Користувача соцмереж було засуджено у понеділок до півтора року в'язниці за написання ультраправих коментарів.

Судді зазначили, що чоловік висловив каяття з приводу написаного. Однак вони обґрунтували вирок, заявивши, що чоловік мав довгу історію таких правопорушень і що мова ненависті онлайн є на підйомі в Німеччині.

Повідомляється, що таке рішення пов'язане із закликами німецьких політиків до протидії мові ворожнечі в інтернеті.

В Німеччині уряд також планує запустити систему компенсації для жертв онлайн-ненависті.
