Журналисты издания The New York Times получили Пулитцеровскую премию в номинации "Освещение международных тем" за тексты о России, сообщается в понедельник, 10 апреля, на официальном сайте премии. Журналисты издания писали о попытках президента РФ Владимира Путина расширить российское влияние за рубежом, "раскрывая такие методы, как убийство, преследование в Интернете и распространение компроматов в отношении оппонентов". В перечень отмеченных жюри работ вошли материалы об "армии российских троллей", выгоде Москвы от разоблачений Wikileaks, российских кибератаках на американских демократов и другие статьи, пишет DW.com.

 

Пулитцеровскую премию в главной номинации - "Служение обществу" - получили журналисты The New York Daily News и ProPublica, которые писали о выселении представителей меньшинств, живущих за чертой бедности, из государственного жилья в Нью-Йорке.

В номинации "Разъяснительная журналистика" Пулитцеровской премии удостоены журналисты Международного консорциума журналистских расследований (ICIJ), которые изучали "панамские досье". В расследовании участвовали российские журналисты Роман Анин, Олеся Шмагун и Дмитрий Великовский.

Пулитцеровская премия - одна из самых престижных в США и в мире наград в области журналистики. Она вручается ежегодно с 1917 года за публикацию в каком-либо американском издании.
