Покупка обійшлася у 8,1 мільйона доларів, передає Depo.ua з посиланням на CNN.

"З огляду на те, що екс-президент і пані Обама будуть жити в Вашингтоні як мінімум ще 2,5 роки, для них цілком розумно було б купити будинок, ніж продовжувати орендувати", - каже прес-секретар Обами Кевін Льюїс.

Додамо, що донька екс-президента США Саша ще не закінчила школу - у вересні вона піде в передостанній клас.

За даними телеканалу, в будинку, купленому Обамою, дев'ять спалень і вісім ванних кімнат.
