Американский журнал The New Yorker представил на своем сайте обложку нового номера, которая призвана привлечь внимание к проблеме невостребованности людей с дипломами высших учебных заведений.

На ней изображены выпускники 2015 года, работающие уборщиками и собирающие с земли и дерева шапки выпускников 2016 года.

 
 
 
 

Это уже не первая обложка журнала, посвященная попыткам бывших студентов найти работу по специальности. Однако этот выпуск вызвал бурную реакцию в социальных сетях, в частности, в Twitter.

Кто-то из блогеров назвал обложку «дичью», кому-то она показалась«безжалостной» и «беспощадной». Отметили также и «печальную действительность» изображения.

В целом владельцы микроблогов признали, что The New Yorker затронул непростую и актуальную тему.

Свежий выпуск журнала поступит в продажу 30 мая.
