Ранее Парубий заявлял, что президент в ближайшее время предложит новый состав ЦИК.

Председатель Центральной избирательной комиссии (ЦИК) Михаил Охендовский не видит противоречий в том, что старый состав ЦИК будет проводить выборы. Об этом он заявил журналистам после открытия тренингового центра ЦИК, передает РБК-Украина.

"Никакого противоречия здесь нет. ЦИК привык на протяжении двух последних лет каждый день делать то, что он обязан делать согласно законодательству Украины. Независимо от того когда и каким образом будет сформирован состав ЦИК, те шаги Центральной избирательной комиссии, которые были предусмотрены, будут выполнены или этим составом, или другим", - заверил Охендовский.

Комментируя вопрос журналистов, может ли он предсказать когда Верховная Рада Украины рассмотрит представление о обновлении ЦИК, Охендовский ответил следующее: "Прогнозов относительно сроков обновления ЦИК ни в коем случае не касается ЦИК, поскольку соответствующие решения принимаются не нами, а о нас".
