Охлобистін розповів про новий російський телеканал "Ракета", засновниками якого є крім нього, Михайло Пореченков, Захар Прілєпін, Сергій Лук'яненко та Микола Гастелло.

"Є кілька ЗМІ на інформаційному ринку, які представляють інтереси ліберально налаштованої частини нашого суспільства. А інтереси консервативно налаштованої частини суспільства не представлені. Так, є державне телебачення, але воно не може надавати те чи інше забарвлення висвітленню поточних подій, воно має бути максимально об'єктивним", - сказав Охлобистін.

"Є телеканал "СПАС", але це релігійний канал, і було б дивно, якби на ньому обговорювалися якісь світські новини. Є канал "Зірка", але їм все-таки піклується Міноборони, тому вони теж не можуть претендувати на представлення інтересів консервативно налаштованої частини суспільства.

Знову ж таки, у нас все буде без неподобств, це буде світське телебачення. Не звучатиме ніяких агресивних гасел. Просто подавати і висвітлювати інформацію будуть люди, які дотримуються певних поглядів, можна сказати, консервативно-патріотичних", - наголосив він.
