Сервис Survey Monkey, специализирующийся на опросах в интернете, попытался узнать, за кого бы проголосовали американцы на президентских выборах, если бы в гонку вступили герои «Игры престолов».

Первое и второе места разделили Тирион из дома Ланнистеров и левый демократ Берни Сандерс — им симпатизируют по 24 процента опрошенных. Третьей идет Хиллари Клинтон — за нее готовы отдать голос 20 процентов. На четвертом месте — Дейнерис Таргариен с 14 процентами, на пятом — Дональд Трамп с 7 процентами голосов.

В июле две основные партии — Демократическая и Республиканская — проведут общенациональные съезды, где будут избраны их претенденты на пост главы государства. Сейчас главными фаворитами кампании являются бывший госсекретарь США Хиллари Клинтон и Дональд Трамп. Выборы президента назначены на 8 ноября.

«Игра престолов» — американский фэнтези-сериал, который начал выходить в эфир весной 2011 года. Он основан на книжном цикле американского писателя Джорджа Мартина «Песнь льда и пламени».
