Партія "Блок Петра Порошенка" вирішила змінити назву на "Блок Петра Порошенка - Солідарність". Таке рішення ухвалено на технічному з'їзді партії, повідомили LB.ua депутати, які брали участь у ньому.

Активісти партії вважають, що прив'язка до особистості глави держави допоможе партії отримати оптимальний результат на майбутніх місцевих виборах, а після них у назві залишиться тільки "Солідарність". Також було ухвалено рішення активізувати роботу з формування осередків партії на місцях.

Окрім того, на з'їзді було прийнято низку рішень технічного характеру, зокрема про прийняття до лав партії деяких нинішніх депутатів від БПП.

Нагадаємо, що партія "Блок Петра Порошенка" раніше називалася "Солідарність", але перед виборами до Верховної Ради змінила назву. Лідер партії - Юрій Луценко.
