Партія президента Франції Еммануеля Макрона "Вперед, республіка!" та її союзники партія MoDem отримали абсолютну більшість у нижній палаті парламенту у другому турі парламентських виборів, що відбулись у неділю, 18 червня.  

Про це свідчать офіційні результати виборів, опубліковані на сайті МВС Франції, пише Європейська правда

Альянс "Вперед, республіка!" та MoDem  здобувають 350 мандатів (308 і 42 мандати відповідно) і таким чином отримують абсолютну більшість у 577-місному парламенті.  Однак це значно менше, ніж силі Макрона прогнозували соціологи. Опитування передбачали 440-470 мандатів для президентського альянсу.

Правоцентристська партія "Республіканці"  разом із союзниками матимуть 131 місце та стануть найбільшою опозиційною силою у Національних зборах.

Соціалісти, які дотепер утримували владу, здобувають 29 місць. "Франція нескорена" на чолі з Жаном-Люком Меланшном - 17, "Французька комуністична партія" – 10.

Ультраправий "Національний фронт" виборов 8 мандатів. Лідер партії Марін Ле Пен за результатами виборів з п’ятої спроби отримала місце у парламенті Франції.

Вибори у другому турі проходили за мажоритарною системою. Явка на виборах була рекордно низькою – лише 42%, що нижче, ніж у першому турі.
