Правоцентристська партія президента Франції Еммануеля Макрона утворила альянс з політсилою консерваторів Les Respublicains перед місцевими виборами, що пройдуть у південному регіоні Прованс-Альпи-Лазурний берег у червні. Про це пише Reuters.

Рік тому партія Макрона La Republique en Marche (LREM) зазнала поразки на муніципальних виборах, тож тепер вона прагне об'єднатися з іншими силами. 

Прем'єр-міністр Франці Жан Кастекс заявив, що об'єдантися запропонували консерватори, на що партія Макрона "дуже позитивно" відповіла. Кандидати альянсу змагатимуться з правою партії Rassemblement National, яка на регіональних виборах 2015 року зібрала 45% голосів. 

Втім деякі консерватори незадоволення об'єднанням, оскільки Макрон після приходу до влади переманив багатьох членів Les Respublicains до себе. 

Нагадаємо, що у 2017 році Еммануель Макрон переміг на виборах президента Франції і став наймолодшим її очільником за всю історію Республіки. У другому турі виборів за нього проголосували 66,10% виборців. За його головного конкурента під час другого етапу виборів представника "Національного фронту" Марін Ле Пен віддали свої голоси 33,9% французів.
