Голова Верховної Ради Андрій Парубій вважає рішення Євросоюзу продовжити санкції щодо Росії за агресивні дії проти України свідченням переваги України в інформаційній війні, інформує Українська правда.

"Ще два роки тому скептики були переконані, що ЄС ніколи не введе санкції проти Росії. Кілька місяців тому була величезна дискусія і тепер, за кілька тижнів до рішення, ми вже розуміємо, що санкції будуть продовжені. І медіа також повинні розуміти, що якщо санкції будуть продовжені, то це буде велика перемога української дипломатії, проти набагато більшого ресурсу російської дипломатії, яка демонструє здатність переконувати європейських партнерів з різних країн. Вважаю, що Україна перемагає ", - сказав Парубій. 

Він зазначив, що найближчі півроку, на які продовжено санкції щодо Росії, дуже важливі. Росія повинна припинити вогонь і виконати перший пункт Мінських угод.

"Для цього нам треба об'єднатися з усім світом. Якщо припинення вогню не буде, то санкції проти Росії повинні бути ще більш жорсткими", - переконаний Парубій.

Рада ЄС 1 липня продовжила економічні санкції проти Росії ще на півроку – до 31 січня 2017 року.
