22 декабря 2014 года в Тронном зале Патриаршей резиденции в Даниловом монастыре в Москве состоялась встреча Святейшего Патриарха Московского и всея Руси Кирилла с генеральным директором Всероссийской государственной телевизионной и радиовещательной компании О.Б. Добродеевым и генеральным директором Российского международного информационного агентства «Россия сегодня» Д.К. Киселевым.

Во внимание к усердным трудам во благо Церкви и Отечества и в связи с 60-летием со дня рождения Святейший Патриарх Кирилл вручил генеральному директору МИА «Россия сегодня» Д.К. Киселеву орден преподобного Сергия Радонежского II степени.
