Національна рада з телерадіомовлення видала ліцензію на мовлення телеканалу Pravda Russian world channel, який належить голові координаційної ради "Студії Савіка Шустера" Павлу Єлізарову.

Єлізаров також є директором новоствореного телеканалу.

Під час презентації він повідомив, що телеканал буде орієнтуватися на російськомовну аудиторію в усьому світі, контент буде переважно інформаційно-аналітичним і більшу частину програм складуть програми виробництва "Студії Савіка Шустера".

Як зазначив Єлізаров, планується, що в ефірі телеканалу буде подаватися альтернативна російській пропаганді точка зору на події в Україні, що, на його думку, важливо для російськомовної аудиторії.

Сам Шустер, за словами власника каналу, може увійти до редакційної ради.

Телеканал переважно мовитиме на супутнику та в інтернеті, крім того, в планах переговори з кабельними і готельними мережами як в Україні, так і за її межами.

Інвестиції в канал складуть 14,6 млн грн, термін окупності - шість років.
