У КНДР іноземних туристів позбавили доступу до 3G інтернету.

Про це місцевий інтернет-оператор Koryolink повідомив в листі своїм абонентам, повідомляє Media Sapiens

«На жаль, ми зіткнулися з відключенням на невизначений час від місцевого інтернет-провайдера, ми відразу повідомимо вам, як тільки сервіс буде відновлено», - йдеться в повідомленні.

До цього моменту іноземні громадяни могли придбати SIM-карти для 3G інтернету, термін дії яких закінчувався одночасно з закінченням терміну дії візи. В той же час громадяни Північної Кореї практично не мають доступу до зовнішнього інтернету, який би не піддавався цензурі.

За інформацією Reuters, доступ до мобільної мережі був обмежений у п'ятницю, 12 червня, всього через день після пожежі в готелі Koryo Hotel в Пхеньяні, фотографії якого з'явилися в соцмережах. Фотографії, якими діляться в мережі туристи, на думку влади, не сприяють встановленню позитивного іміджу країни.
