Президент Петро Порошенко розраховує, що найближчим часом партія "Блок Петра Порошенка "Солідарність" приєднається до Європейської народної партії. Про це він сказав під час другого етапу 12 позачергового з'їзду БПП, що проходить разом із партією "Український демократичний альянс за реформи (УДАР) Віталія Кличка", пишуть Українські новини

"Я впевнений, що найближчим часом, уже в цьому місяці, наша об'єднана (з УДАРом) партія буде приєднана до складу Європейської народної партії", - сказав він.

Президент наголосив, що вважає БПП гідною представляти ЄНП.

У свою чергу, головуючий на з'їзді голова фракції БПП у Верховній Раді Юрій Луценко повідомив, що рішення про прийом політичної сили до складу ЄНП очікується у вересні.

ЄНП - об'єднана європейська партія, у якій понад 70 партій із більше 40 європейських країн.

В ЄНП найбільша фракція в Європейському парламенті.

Нагадаємо, раніше в п'ятницю мер Києва, голова партії "Український демократичний альянс за реформи (УДАР) Віталія Кличка" Віталій Кличко і ще 18 членів УДАРу вступили в БПП.
