Президент Петро Порошенко нагородив Ірину Земляну Орденом княгині Ольги III ступеню

Згідно з указом президента, нагороду присвоєно "За значний особистий внесок у соціально-економічний, науково-технічний, культурно-освітній розвиток Української держави, вагомі професійні здобутки та самовіддане служіння українському народові".

Ірина Земляна - активістка "Демальянсу", відома зокрема тим, що є автором пісні "Вітя, чао!", яка стала своєрідним гімном Євромайдану.
 
"У перший тиждень грудня Іра написала слова пісні "Вітя, чао!" на відомий мотив "Белла, чао!", що був народним гімном руху Опору в Італії під час Другої світової війни. З друзями записали ролик. 

Вставай Країно! Прокиньтесь люди!
А Вітя чао, Вітя чао, Вітя чао-чао-чао!
Всім на Майдани виходить треба
Проти свавілля влади стать.

Пісня "розірвала" YouTube, на головній сцені Майдану її співали щодня, а були дні - і щогодини. Також пісня звучить у фільмі Сергія Лозниці "Майдан",  - зазначає Соколенко. 

"Зараз Ірина Земляна активно працює з фракцією Демократичного Альянсу у Київраді та готує журналістів до роботи у зоні АТО на справжньому полігоні в умовах, максимально наближених до бойових", - додала Соколенко.
