Местные выборы в стране пройдут осенью текущего года, заверилпрезидент Украины Петр Порошенко.

"Децентрализация предусматривает передачу львиной доли полномочий территориальным общинам, что, я надеюсь, в конце концов, произойдет после местных выборов, которые должны пройти 25 октября. Ни о каком переносе речь не идет, пусть не ждут. Точно так же, как я поступил с парламентскими выборами, точно так же будет и с местными выборами, поскольку единственным носителем власти в государстве является украинский народ и украинский гражданин", – сказал президент, выступая перед активом Тернопольской областной государственной администрации в четверг,пишет Сегодня

Он напомнил, что предложения относительно децентрализации уже были поданы в Верховную Раду и направлены в Конституционный суд.

По словам Порошенко, в предложенных изменениях предлагается передать общине большую часть полномочий, чтобы "сократить расстояние между гражданином и человеком, который принимает решение".
