Президент Украины Петр Порошенко поздравил Мила Джукановича с победой на выборах президента Черногории и выразил надежду на углубление сотрудничества между странами.

Об этом он написал в своем микроблоге Twitter, пишет LB.ua

"Искренне поздравляю Мила Джукановича с избранием Президентом Черногории. Убедительная победа в первом туре подтвердила неизменность европейского выбора и евроатлантической солидарности черногорского общества. Украина рассчитывает на дальнейшее развитие партнерских отношений с Черногорией", - отметил Порошенко.

Напомним, президент Черногории избирается всенародным голосованием на пятилетний срок. Джуканович, который пять раз занимал пост премьера (1991-1998, 2003-2006, 2008-2010, 2012-2016), а также был президентом страны с 1998 по 2002 год, станет во главе страны в седьмой раз. Общий срок его правления к концу нового президентского мандата составит 32 года.
