Пресс-секретарь Президента Украины Святослав Цеголко в своем Facebook сообщил о том, что Петр Порошенко утром воскресенья, 26 октября, прибыл в зону проведения антитеррористической операции на востоке Украины.

В свою очередь супруга главы государства Марина Порошенко сообщила, что Президент на Донбассе лично проверяет процесс голосования на внеочередных выборах в Верховную Раду.

"Муж сейчас на Донбассе, он поехал для личной проверки, как проходит голосование, чтобы все люди востока могли сделать свое волеизъявление и проголосовать... И мирные жители освобожденных территорий, и военные - наши герои, которые сейчас находятся на передовой. Я единственное, что могу вам сказать - он стопроцентно проголосует", -  цитирует РБК-Украина Порошенко.

По ее словам, Президент хочет проконтролировать ситуацию с голосованием украинских военных.
