Президент Петро Порошенко відреагував на "офшорний скандал" навколо журналістського розслідування, яке базується на документах компанії Mossack Fonseca.

Про це він заявив у понеділок на своїй офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

Він заявив, що є першою особою, яка, "серйозно ставиться до декларування своїх статків, сплати податків і питання конфлікту інтересів, які вирішую в рамках українського законодавства та міжнародного приватного права".

"Ставши президентом, я відійшов від управління активами, доручивши цю справу відповідним консалтинговим та юридичним компаніям. Очікую, що вони нададуть вичерпні пояснення для української та міжнародної преси", - написав він.

Як відомо, у неділю 3 квітня світові ЗМІ одночасно опублікували велике розслідування, що розкриває причетність багатьох світових лідерів і відомих людей різних професій до приховування величезних сум грошей в офшорних компаніях.

Серед них, крім інших, виявилися президент України Петро Порошенко і Росії – Володимир Путін.

Претензії до Порошенка полягають у приховуванні факту створення компаній в офшорі. Дії Порошенка можуть суперечити закону, оскільки він відкрив нову компанію, перебуваючи в кріслі президента, і не вказав цей актив у фінансовій декларації.
