Президент Петро Порошенко наголошує, що починати діалог про модальності проведення місцевих виборів можливо лише після повного припинення вогню і відведення важкої техніки, верифікованого ОБСЄ, повідомила прес-служба голови держави.
На розширеній нараді з силовиками і представниками України в робочих підгрупах Тристоронньої контактної групи в суботу, 16 травня, він звернув на це увагу представника в підгрупі з політичних питань Володимира Горбуліна, мовиться в повідомленні.
На останніх наразі переговорах у «нормандському форматі» в Мінську 12 лютого цього року було вирішено, що такий діалог має початися в перший день після відведення важкого озброєння за ефективного моніторингу і верифікації цього відведення і режиму припинення вогню з боку Організації з безпеки і співпраці в Європі. Але цього досі не сталося. На лінії контакту сторін конфлікту в частині сходу України тривають перестрілки й бойові сутички, також і з застосуванням важкої техніки. Сторони звинувачують у порушеннях і провокаціях одна одну.
