21 липня експрезидент та лідер партії "Європейська солідарність" Петро Порошенко проголосував на позачергових виборах до Ради.

На виборчу дільницю у Будинку офіцерів ЗСУ у Києві він прийшов разом із дружиною Мариною Порошенко, дітьми та невісткою.

"Проголосував за ЄС, проголосував за НАТО. Я проголосував за європейську і євроатлантичну Україну. Україну, яка рухається вперед, у родину європейських народів, бо лише ці два потужних союзи – ЄС та НАТО є гарантами миру, безпеки, добробуту для кожного українського громадянина", - повідомив лідер партії "ЄС".

За його словами, команда, за яку він віддав голос,  "унікальна" та "здатна зупинити російський реванш і рухати країну вперед".
