Прем'єр-міністр Ісландії Сігмюндюр Гюннлейгссон спростував інформацію про свою відставку через офшорний скандал.
 

Про це повідомляє Independent з посиланням на прес-службу глави ісландського уряду, передає Еспресо

У прес-службі зазначили, що Гюннлейгссон "на невизначений час" відійшов від своїх обов'язків, запропонувавши віце-голові Прогресивної партії країни взяти на себе повноваження прем'єр-міністра.

Нагадуємо, 5 квітня ВВС повідомила, що Сігмундур Гуннлаугссон подав у відставку.

Видання називало причиною відставки витік "Панамського архіву": в документах, що потрапили до журналістів, згадується офшорна компанія ісландського прем'єра, яку він не задекларував.
