Премʼєр-міністр Нідерландів Марк Рютте закликав своїх співгромадян голосувати за Угоду про асоціацію України та ЄС на референдумі, який відбувається 6 квітня.

З таким закликом Рютте звернувся до голландців після того, як проголосував на одній з дільниць в Гаазі, повідомляє "Європейська правда".

"Ми повинні допомогти Україні в розбудові суспільства з верховенством права, демократії. Голосування за підтримали і єврейська меншина і ЛГБТ-спільнота, тому я закликаю Нідерланди прийти проголосувати і проголосувати за", – заявив голландський премʼєр.

Раніше повідомлялося, що за результатами опитування, проведеного компаніями Ipsos та I&O research, 53-55% голландців збираються проголосувати  проти Угоди про асоціацію на референдумі 6 квітня.

Як відомо, парламент Нідерландів завершив процедуру ратифікації Угоди про асоціацію між Україною та ЄС 7 липня 2015 року – після вступу в силу закону, який дозволив виносити на референдум міжнародні угоди.

Після цього в Нідерландах зібрали необхідну кількість підписів для проведення консультативного референдуму щодо ратифікації Угоди про асоціацію з Україною.

Зібрати підписи вдалося завдяки інтенсивній онлайн-кампанії сатиричного блогу GeenStijl, групи громадян Burgercomite ЄС ("Комітет громадян ЄС") і євроскептичного мозкового центру "Форум для демократії".
