Санкції проти Росії не несуть користі і тому їх потрібно скасувати. Про це заявив президент Болгарії Румен Радєв в інтерв'ю болгарському телеканалу BTV. За його словами, він готовий виступити за зняття санкцій.

«Ми підтримаємо будь-які дії щодо скасування санкцій, але має бути зрозуміло, що президент самостійно не може ініціювати подібні дії», - заявив він. Також президент Болгарії повідомив, що незабаром у нього відбудеться розмова з Володимиром Путіним, в ході якої він запросить президента РФ приїхати з візитом.

«Є багато питань, які потрібно обговорити», - додав Радєв.

Як повідомляло раніше агентство Reuters, Європейський союз буде прагнути відновити економічні санкції проти Росії після їх закінчення в кінці липня, чому сприяли несподівано холодні відносини президента США Дональда Трампа з Москвою.

«Лідери ЄС підтримують санкції, але не всі роблять це з «колишнім завзяттям». Серед найбільш переконаних прихильників відновлення санкцій - Швеція, країни Балтії і Польща, голос яких ослаблений рішенням Великобританії покинути ЄС», - говорилося в повідомленні. Згідно з інформацією видання, до числа менш переконаних належать Італія, Греція, Кіпр, Угорщина, Іспанія та Болгарія. Ці країни стверджують, що 3 роки санкцій так і не змогли похитнути Москви, тому вони хотіли б відновити ділові зв'язки.
