Президент Греции Прокопис Павлопулос 28 августа подписал указ о роспуске парламента и проведении внеочередных парламентских выборов 20 сентября.

Указ опубликован на сайте официального издания правительства и парламента Греции - Official Government Gazette, передает Новое время

Причиной роспуска парламента стал срыв переговоров о формировании коалиционного правительства.

Новый парламент соберется на первую сессию 1 октября в 11:00.

Ранее сообщалось, что партия экс-премьера Греции Алексиса Ципраса СИРИЗА лидирует среди предпочтений избирателей.
