Президент Литвы Даля Грибаускайте жестко прокомментировала растиражированную российскими СМИ новость о проверке законности признания независимости республик Прибалтики.

"Наша независимость была достигнута кровью наших народа. Никто не имеет права угрожать ей. Только мы решаем нашу судьбу",  — написала Даля Грибаускайте в своем Twitter.

Ранее российское информагентство Интерфакс со ссылкой якобы на свои источники сообщило, что Генпрокуратура РФ начала проверку законности признания независимости республик Прибалтики Госсоветом СССР в 1991 году.

Хотя официального подтверждения данной информации нет, СМИ поспешили растиражировать эту новость.
