Президент Петро Порошенко відзначив українського режисера Олега Сенцова та громадського активіста Олександра Кольченка, яких засуджено у Росії за сфабрикованими звинуваченнями, орденом «За мужність» І ступеня. Відповідний Указ підписаний у четвер, 24 вересня.

39-річний Олег Сенцов, який родом із Сімферополя, був активним учасником Революції Гідності, брав участь в Автомайдані. У травні 2014 року в окупованому Криму представники російської влади затримали його разом з 25-річним Олександром Кольченком та ще декількома українцями. 25 серпня 2015 року у Ростові-на-Дону було засуджено Олега Сенцова до 20 років і Олександра Кольченка до 10 років позбавлення волі з відбуванням покарання у колонії суворого режиму.
