Президент Петро Порошенко поклав квіти до меморіальної дошки пам’яті загиблих журналістів на будівлі Національної спілки журналістів України. Глава держави вшанував пам’ять всіх журналістів, загибель яких була пов’язана з їх професійною діяльністю.

В цей день, 16 вересня, 15 років тому був убитий журналіст Георгій Гонгадзе, чиє ім’я стало символом не тільки незалежної, професійної журналістики, але й початку змін в Україні.
