Президент Петро Порошенко вважає, що можливе проведення так званих виборів у самопроголошених "Донецькій народній республіці" і "Луганській народній республіці" 18 жовтня й 1 листопада несе серйозну загрозу "мінським домовленостям".

Про це він сказав на прес-конференції в Берліні (Німеччина) після зустрічі з канцлером Німеччини Ангелою Меркель і Президентом Франції Франсуа Олландом, повідомляють Українські новини.

"Ми обговорили крайню небезпеку, що несе проведення фейкових виборів 18 жовтня й 1 листопада не відповідно до українського законодавства. І це несе серйозну загрозу всьому мінському процесу", - завив він.

Він нагадав, що запропонований ним проект закону про внесення змін до Конституції в частині децентралізації повністю відповідає мінським домовленостям.

Порошенко наголосив, що немає необхідності проводити переговори із врегулювання ситуації на Донбасі в новому форматі.

"Що стосується нових форматів (переговорів), я переконаний, що ми не маємо потреби в нових форматах. У нас є "формат Мінська", формат "нормандський", - додав Президент.

Він висловив переконання, що в рамках цих форматів можна вирішити всі необхідні питання.

Як повідомляло агентство, Порошенко в понеділок прибув у Берлін (Німеччина) для участі в переговорах з Меркель і Олландом.
