Традиционное новогоднее обращение Президента к украинцам в этом году будет наименее традиционным из всех за 23 года независимости Украины: Петр Порошенко поговорит со зрителями в компании волонтеров, киборгов и других героев страны. Об этом написал на своей странице в Фейсбуке Юрий Бирюков, руководитель благотоврительной организации "Крылья Феникса":

«Чем множество хороших людей занимались ночью, на морозе (д-д-д-д)... На всех экранах страны, скоро!» - и уточнил, что среди приглашенных на ночные съемки - киборги Василий Головенко (позывной Маршал), Иван Медведь, волонтеры Татьяна Рычкова, Роман Доник, Натальей Воронковой и другие.

Подтвердил факт съемок и организатор «Народного тыла» Георгий Тука:

"Вчера вечером произошло несколько знаковых событий. Во-первых, впервые за 10 месяцев оделся в "цивильное платье". Отвык...Во-вторых, произошла встреча с Президентом. Мужик как мужик. И мерз, как мы. И шутил, как и мы. И фотографировался со всеми, не отказывая никому. Не заметил я в нем какого-то подобия сфинкса, нет. Учитывая то, что перед этим успел переговорить с Юрой Бирюковым, смотрел на ПАПа и думал: "Эх, мужик. И нелегко же тебе сейчас...".
