Во втором туре президентских выборов в Перу победил правоцентрист, бывший премьер-министр страны Педро Пабло Кучински, опередив свою конкурентку Кейко Фухимори всего лишь на 0,24%.

Кучински по итогам голосования получил 50,12% голосов избирателей, в то время как его конкурент Кейко Фухимори, дочь экс-президента страны Альберто Фухимори, получила поддержку 49,88% избирателей.

Разрыв между кандидатами составил чуть более 40 000 голосов.

Напомним, в соседнем Чили стремительно растет недовольство оттягиванием социальных реформ президентом Мичелем Бачелетом.
