Президент Молдови Ігор Додон виступив з ініціативою внести зміни до Конституції, що дозволяють йому розпустити парламент.
 

Про це Додон заявив на брифінгу у Кишиневі за підсумками зустрічі з главою парламенту Андріаном Канду і прем'єр-міністром Павлом Філіпом, повідомляє "Укрінформ".

"Ми підготуємо законодавчу ініціативу про внесення змін до Конституції, які дали б право президенту розпустити парламент і призначити дострокові парламентські вибори. Якщо парламент відкине цю пропозицію, то я не виключаю проведення референдуму з цього питання", - сказав Додон.

Він наголосив при цьому, що в адміністрації президента розглядають не тільки цю ініціативу, але й можливість внесення концептуальних поправок в Основний закон і повернення Молдови до президентської форми правління.

Спікер молдавського парламенту Андріан Канду висловився проти цієї ініціативи, наголосивши, що президентська форма правління не виправдала себе, тому Молдова повинна залишатися парламентською республікою.

Канду також висловився категорично проти проведення дострокових парламентських виборів, заявивши, що "дострокові вибори можуть підірвати політичну та економічну стабільність в країні".

Зазначимо, що це перша після президентських виборів 2016 року зустріч між президентом, спікером і прем'єром.
