Новым президентом Австрии стал бывший лидер партии "Зеленых" Александер Ван Дер Беллен.

 

Об этом посол Украины в Австрии Александр Щерба написал в Twitter.

"Правый радикал Гофер признал поражение. Бывший глава партии "Зеленых" Александер Ван Дер Беллен новый президент Австрии", - сообщил посол.

Нынешние выборы стали историческими для Австрии - впервые с 1945 года пост президента достался не представителю социал-демократов или консерваторов, которые формируют две крупнейшие партии Австрии, пишет УНИАН

В случае победы кандидата от правопопулистской Австрийской партии свободы Норберта Гофера Австрия могла стать первой западноевропейской страной, президентом которой был бы правый популист.

Стоит напомнить, что Хофер принадлежит к партии, которая известна самой большой симпатией к России среди всех политсил Австрии.
