Члены ЦИК не уполномочены проверять правильность оформления паспорта.

Избиратели с просроченными фотографиями в паспортах имеют право проголосовать на внеочередных парламентских выборах 26 октября. Об этом сообщил пресс-секретарь Центральной избирательной комиссии (ЦИК) Константин Хивренко,пишет Корреспондент.net

По его словам, ни один из членов комиссии не уполномочен проверять соблюдение порядка оформления паспорта гражданина Украины. "В свое время Центральная избирательная комиссия приняла соответствующее разъяснение, в котором говорится, что участковая избирательная комиссия не уполномочена проверять подлинность документа, удостоверяющего личность, в данном случае речь идет о паспорте", – пояснил Хивренко.

Отметим, новая фотокарточка вклеивается в паспорт при достижении 25- и 45-летнего возраста.
