Голова Кремля Володимир Путін закликав депутатів Держдуми підтримати кандидатуру першого заступника керівника адміністрації президента В'ячеслава Володіна в якості спікера парламенту нового скликання.

"Ми з Дмитром Анатолійовичем будемо просити, у всякому разі Єдину Росію, підтримати кандидатуру В'ячеслава Вікторовича Володіна", - заявив Путін на зустрічі з керівництвом партій, які перемогли на минулих виборах.

При цьому він звернувся до присутніх з проханням "консолідовано відреагувати" на його прохання.
