У привітанні з Днем Перемоги президент Росії Володир Путін привітав усіх президентів колишніх радянських республік, окрім України та Грузії.

Путін надіслав окремі привітання президентам дев’яти країн, а також лідерам самопроголошених республік Абхазія та Південна Осетія, тоді як вітання для України та Грузії передав лище громадянам цих країн.

"Володимир Путін привітав лідерів Азербайджану, Вірменії, Білорусії, Казахстану, Киргизії, Молдавії, Таджикистану, Туркменістану, Узбекистану, Абхазії, Південній Осетії, а також громадян Грузії та України з 71-ї річницею Перемоги у Великій Вітчизняній війні", – йдеться в повідомленні на сайті Кремля.

Путін назвав День перемоги "священним святом, яке назавжди залишиться символом героїзму і єднання народів", що врятували світ від фашизму.

Російський президент у вітанні висловив сподівання, що спільна боротьба народів у час війни сприятиме "розвитку інтеграційних процесів на євразійському просторі".
