Президент Росії підписав закон про так зване "право на забуття".

Закон почне діяти з 1 січня 2016 року. Документ передбачає право громадян вимагати від операторів пошукових систем видаляти посилання на інформацію, що їх не влаштовує.

Оператор пошукової системи на вимогу фізичної особи (заявника) зобов'язаний припинити видачу сайтів з недостовірною, а також "неактуальною" або такою, що "втратила значення для фізичної особи з огляду на подальші події або її дії" інформацією, причому критеріїв визначення актуальності немає.

Представники інтернет-спільноти піддали законопроект критиці, заявивши, що закон обмежує право громадян на доступ до інформації.
