Про це в інтерв'ю режисерові Оліверу Стоуну заявив президент Росії Володимир Путін, повідомляють "РИА новости".

Він зазначив, що політична підтримка "бойовиків" американською владою вже була доведена та не потребує жодних інших підтверджень.

"А що стосується оперативної підтримки, фінансової - у нас є такі докази і, більш того, деякі з них ми навіть представили нашим американським колегам", - наголосив Путін.

За його словами, він якось повідомив про ці факти тодішньому президенту Джорджу Бушу. Зокрема, показав йому і назвав прізвища співробітників спецслужб США, які працювали на Кавказі.

"Вони не просто надавали якусь загальнополітичну підтримку, а надавали технічну підтримку, перекидали там бойовиків з одного місця в інше. Реакція президента США була дуже правильною, дуже негативною. Він сказав:" Я з цим розберуся ", - підсумував Путін.
