Для жителей австрийской столицы – Вены - визит президента Владимира Путина не остался незамеченным не только из-за кружащих над городом вертолетов, но и благодаря двум митингам, организованных проукраинскими и пророссийскими активистами.

Как сообщает корреспондент «Главкома», приверженцы кремлевской политики, около 20 человек, собрались у здания Бургтеатра с призывами «остановить украинскую армию» и «спасти Украину от фашизма».

 
 

Раза в три многочисленней и более организованным оказался проукраинский митинг. Украинцы, живущие в Вене, проследовали по всему президентскому маршруту от Хофбурга, торгово-промышленной палаты Вены, до памятника советским воинам, выкрикивая лозунги «Путин – террорист», «Руки прочь от Украины», а также всем известный хит авторства харьковских и донецких ультрас.

 
 
 
 
Как известно, 24 июня в Вене состоялись переговоры между президентом России Владимиром Путиным и президентом Австрии Хайнцем Фишером. Они обсуждали «Южный поток» и кризис в Украине. Позже австрийская энергетическая компания OMV и российский «Газпром» подписали контракт на строительство австрийской части трубопровода «Южный поток», который должен поставлять природный газ в Европу в обход Украины.
