Рада Європи готова допомогти у вирішенні проблеми з припиненням мовлення кримськотатарського каналу ATR

Про це заявив генеральний секретар Ради Європи Торбйорн Ягланд, передає depo.ua 

"Рада Європи готова надати свій досвід для виходу з глухого кута", - сказав він, коментуючи ситуацію з ATR.

Ягланд підкреслив, що плюралізм в медіа також важливе для Криму, як і в будь-якій іншій частині Європи.

"Я закликаю владу в Криму та операторів татарського телеканалу прийти до угоди, яка дозволить каналу існувати і далі. Вільні ЗМІ повинні мати можливість поширювати всякого роду інформацію та ідеї, що гарантується Європейською Конвенцією з прав людини", - наголосив генсек Ради Європи.
