Верховна Рада підтримала пропозиції президента щодо закону про роздержавлення друкованих ЗМІ і ухвалила його.

За відповідне рішення після накладання вето Петром Порошенком проголосували народні депутати в четвер.

Як відомо, Президент ветував закон, через те, що там не передбачалось "зобов'язання реформованих державних і комунальних друкованих ЗМІ щодо збереження мови видання".

Крім того Порошенко запропонував виключити із регулювання цього закону питання про порядок публікації законів, актів Верховної Ради, Кабміну, та указів президента.

Рада прийняла закон про реформування державних і комунальних друкованих ЗМІ 24 листопада.

Закон передбачає вихід держави та місцевих органів влади зі складу засновників ЗМІ та перетворення цих видань у суб'єкт господарювання.
