Журналісти радіостанції «Эхо Москвы» прийняли зміни до статуту, за якими визначаються правила поведінки працівників у соцмережах, анонсовані раніше.

Серед опублікованих рекомендацій для журналістів зазначено такі: редакція вітає участь співробітників у соціальних мережах; журналіст розуміє, що його висловлювання в інтернеті, включно з соціальними мережами, можуть бути витлумачені як думка редакції; журналіст пам’ятає про доречність вибачення за помилкову інформацію чи образливе висловлювання; журналіст утримується від публічної критики редакційної політики, колег, акціонерів чи гостей редакції та інше,повідомляє Media Sapiens

Схвалені журналістам пункти включать до статуту радіостанції. Згодом їх можуть також внести до статуту холдингу «Газпром-медиа», проте рішення про це прийматиме керівництво,

Запровадження правил поведінки в соцмережах стало компромісним рішенням голови правління медіа холдингу та головреда головреда «Эха Москвы» Олексія Венедиктова.

До цього радіостанція «Эхо Москвы» звільнила журналіста Олександра Плющева за допис в особистому твіттер-аккаунті. Через деякий час це рішення було скасоване.
