Редакции американских газет решили поддержать коллег из основной газеты региона Орландо в штате Флорида Orlando Sentinel, присылая им еду, сообщает Телекритика
 
Сейчас Orlando Sentinel является одним из главных поставщиков новостей, касающихся стрельбы в гей-клубе, в результате которой погибло 50 человек.
 
Southern California News Group, которая владеет, в частности, калифорнийской газетой San Bernardino Sun, активно освещавшая в 2015 году стрельбу в городе Сан Бернардино, в результате которой погибли 14 и были ранены 21 человек, 13 июня отправила в редакцию Orlando Sentinel копмлект обедов.
 
 
А популярная в США газета Los Angeles Times, которая получила Пулитцеровскую премию за освещение трагедии в Сан Бернардино, отправляет пиццу.
 
Напомним, такая солидарность проявляется в США уже не первый раз за последние годы. Так, в апреле 2013 года Chicago Tribune отправляла пиццу в Boston Globe во время взрывов на бостонском марафоне.
 
В апреле 2015 года издание Boston Globe отправляло пиццу в The Baltimore Sun, которая освещала резонансное убийство чернокожего подростка полицейскими в Балтиморе и последующие за этим протестные акции. А июне того же года The Baltimore Sun отправляла пиццу в Charleston, South Carolina Post and Courier, которые активно писали о стрельбе в местной церкви.
